This year on July 9-13th Summit will be going to Youth Camp at Lake View Camp in Maypearl Tx. This is going to be an amazing opportunity for our students to experience the awesome power of God in a way they will never forget. This is a 5 day event that will cost $197 per camper. There is a $100 deposit and form due May 30th to reserve the students place. Any money given after that will result in the price increasing to $220. But if money is an issue don’t let that keep you from this experience (contact me). The team and I are extremely excited for what God is going to do this summer at Youth Camp!!!

Coming up on April the 21st Summit will be hosting a car wash at the Autozone on 5012 Teasley Ln, Denton, TX 76210. This is but one of our ways of raising money for our missions organization (Speed The Light). There will be a $5 fee so that we can get you guys some food and drinks. On April 1st during either service (at your discretion) we will be giving our entire church the opportunity to be baptized! In Romans 6:2-4 Paul tells us that baptism is us dying to self and coming up in new life in Christ. We die to our old life so that we can be reborn in the powerful grace of God. That is why we believe this is an awesome experience that we want all of our students to be a part of.

“…Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires.” (Song of Solomon 3:5) The 3:5 Project is based completely around this very scripture. For the next three weeks at SUMMIT we are going to engage our students in a series on love, purity in dating, and the purpose behind these relationships. This world and the media in it are doing everything they can to try and tell our students how to date, how to love, and what they have to do in these relationships and our students are listening. So with your help this is our chance to show our students what God thinks about all of these things, so don’t let them miss out this month b/c this series is far too important to push aside!

Check it!! We are having a super Super Bowl party on February 5th at Richard and Lynda Taylor’s house (422 Ben Boyd Rd. Argyle, Tx. 76226)!! This is going to be a fun night for anyone! This Saturday January 28th, Youth Alive is hosting their training session right here at Eaglepointe Church. This is going to be a time for students from all over the Denton area to come together and get pumped up about being a missionary to their schools. It is $25 a person and it will be from 10:00am to 4:00pm with lunch being provided. I can’t wait to see you there!!!

This coming November, SUMMIT is headed to Houston, Texas for one of the biggest gatherings of students Texas will experience. CONVERGE. I am super excited to have the opportunity to embark on this life changing event with these students. The cost of this event is going to be $100 a person but we will need a $50 deposit by November 2nd, with no exceptions. The rest of the $100 will be due by the 18th of November. We will be leaving at 9:30am, and will meet at the church. Students will most likely have to miss school and there will be a note provided to allow for an excused absence. Lastly, we will be staying at the Hilton Americas connected to the George R. Brown Convention Center, and we will try to return to the church on the 19th no later than 11:00pm.
