This year on July 9-13th Summit will be going to Youth Camp at Lake View Camp in Maypearl Tx. This is going to be an amazing opportunity for our students to experience the awesome power of God in a way they will never forget. This is a 5 day event that will cost $197 per camper. There is a $100 deposit and form due May 30th to reserve the students place. Any money given after that will result in the price increasing to $220. But if money is an issue don’t let that keep you from this experience (contact me). The team and I are extremely excited for what God is going to do this summer at Youth Camp!!!
Want More is a series on the Holy Spirit and the power He hold for us today. This will be an opportunity to educate & teach our students about who the Holy Spirit is. This month we believe that God is going to unleash His power on the students of Summit in an amazing way!
Coming up on April the 21st Summit will be hosting a car wash at the Autozone on 5012 Teasley Ln, Denton, TX 76210. This is but one of our ways of raising money for our missions organization (Speed The Light). There will be a $5 fee so that we can get you guys some food and drinks. This is going to be an opportunity for you to serve your community and have fun doing it with your friends, so don’t miss it!
On April 1st during either service (at your discretion) we will be giving our entire church the opportunity to be baptized! In Romans 6:2-4 Paul tells us that baptism is us dying to self and coming up in new life in Christ. We die to our old life so that we can be reborn in the powerful grace of God. That is why we believe this is an awesome experience that we want all of our students to be a part of.
